Finally posted major photo essay on the legacy of Nazi Germany

After many weeks of work, I was finally able to convert many of the photos I had first taken in 2000 and 2001, documenting the crimes against humanity by Nazi Germany and how that legacy looked when I did my trip to seven countries than a dozen years ago. There are five essays I have published within the larger album called Photographing Evil. I have had this published in another form on my www.rudyfoto.com web site since 2000. The current version shows larger images than my previous effort. I hope you find this worth your visit.

A few from my dogs and dogs-masters files published

I have been photographing dogs and their relations with humans for decades. I put up a few of them, focussing on the special connection between dog and master.

dogs and owners photos-4

There is no city in America where there is a higher level of dog ownership than in Anchorage (small dog mushing communities in this context do not count). Who doesn’t have a dog there?

Photo gallery/portfolio now published

I made a big push the past few days, while grounded with a case of the flu, to get most of my photo collections published, arranged by location. I will publish other photo essays later. Here’s a sample of one of the last photos I put online.

Alaska, Italy, and Vietnam galleries published

I have continued to publish photo galleries. The latest additions include Alaska, Italy, and Vietnam. I wish I had time to convert all of my images, but much of my stock is in analog form, and I do not have time to rescan and correct the literally of hundreds of slides. Enjoy.

Peru gallery added

Another day, another gallery published. I added a few of my many pictures from Peru, all taken in Lima, the mega-opolis of a a capital city, and one of the most inequitable places I have visited. I still loved it.

Greenland galleries added

I have also published a couple of new galleries focussing on my travels in Greenland in 1998, 1999, and 2000. I have had many of these images published for more than a dozen years, but now am re-publishing a select sample again in my Greenland and Greenlanders galleries.

More photos published: Turkey

I am continuing to update my photo galleries. Today, I am posting pictures of my travels in Turkey in 2001. I have much to say about this trip, but these photos are more of a nice ode to my great memories of the country, its people, and its incredibly rich heritage.
