Portland, a Working Town

Portland has a long history as a working city. The city has hosted major ship-building yards, industrial mills, slaughterhouses, and factories serving many industries. Today it still has major railyards, the¬†Daimler Truck manufacturing headquarters, grain silos and cargo shipping facilities, truck distribution centers, oil refineries, acres of multimodal transportation facilities to ship and transfer cargo, and other manufacturing facilities. I will continue updating this gallery as I shoot locations throughout the city. You can also see pictures of Portland’s parks, landmarks, neighborhoods, and more in my gallery Portland, Home Again.
